From next months when you take your vehicle for its MOT, here in Spain, your insurance and car tax payment will be inspected too.
Unlike in the UK, car tax is paid by whoever owns the vehicle in May. It is hard to get a refund (unless the vehicle is scrapped) in other words once paid that is it.
ditto with car insurance. It is paid for a full year and that is it. Car ownership changes aren't anything like tyhe scale they are in the UK.
what a great idea. I wonder how long before the rest of Europe introduces it.
