Pulled out in front of me (from a pub) in a 40 limit - at 20 - I had to brake hard as I was quite close, wobbled from side to side, went over the white line, scared my family.
Held me up from Holt Fleet to Ombersley by going so slow. 35 in the 50 managed to get to 30 in the 40

I've just had similar .... didn't have to brake hard as I 'knew' what he'd do.
I'm in a national limit minutes from home, complete with caravan, old fart in a 205 (+ 3 passengers) pulls out on me here (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=bury+lancs&sll=53.472922,-2.240938&sspn=0.042759,0.111322&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Bury,+Lancashire,+United+Kingdom&ll=53.619289,-2.324435&spn=0,0.006958&t=h&z=18&layer=c&cbll=53.619414,-2.324527&panoid=Pe6sfC18c9_nZ_21uceMiQ&cbp=12,166.62,,0,6.67) & manages to get to a heady 35 mph .... I'm doing 50 with no effort at all, (I'm normally doing 60 when the caravan's at home) I flash & pip at him .... passengers turn around to see who the lout is ::) We get to the 30 limit & old fart is still at 35 and we continue at 35 till I turn off a couple of miles later. People see a car & caravan and assume they'll be stuck behind it even when I'm legally going faster than they're willing to drive!

No point in phoning the plod.
I used to run a pub. I've seen many, many pissed people get into their cars and drive off.
This one particular time, a couple, who were well known in the area for being complete drunkards had their little lad with them. The bloke (who was driving) was so pissed he couldnt even stand up. Little sproglet crying because the couple were having an argument.
I asked one of the local builders who was drinking in the pub to put his van behind the car of the pissheads, of which he obliged, but didn't do a good enough job.
The pisshead, with angry drunk missus and scared to death child got into their car and proceeded to manouver their way out from the parking space. I called the police to inform them of an extremely dangerous driver, but the response was less than welcoming.
My father tells me there used to be a time where a Publican had serious clout with the Old Bill, and a call of that nature would have aroused their ticket book quicker than a rat up a drainpipe..... nowadays it seems they dont care. Obviously too much effort! Much easier to sit in a layby with a speed detector, eating doughnuts.

I was at Ewloe car auctions on Saturday. There were about 5 people there of a foreign persuassion and they bought 4 cars all less than £250 each. I wonder how many of them had a insurance, driving licences, and road tax, I know 2 of the cars had no MOT but all 4 cars were driven away >:(
