Title: I spent most of today....

cleaning raw egg off our bedroom windows, curtains (the windows were open last night), bedroom walls and floor.
Thanks to the IQ zeros who think egg throwing is a fun idea. Seems there was an 18th birthday party further up the street which got out of hand and ended up with the parents throwing the 'guests' out.
Tried to report it to local plod but there is just an answer machine saying they dont work weekends, or Monday afternoons, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. But they are available after six and before seven on Friday.
Went to move the car ready for work tomorrow and realised that the car was done as well....but it has had all day to bake in the sun.

Bad news. If you'd have got to the car earlier, you could have rustled up some bacon to go with the eggs.

"protect and serve"......wasn't that just the American" police??

I thought our police force ethos was "Its not worth the time in paperwork"

Have a lot of respect for the Police in general, but it appears to be getting out of hand, with the force's hands tied up doing 75% paperwork to 25% actual on the beat policing. Even then, the dirtbags get off on a bloody "technicality" and the Police are left frustrated cos the scum are back out on the streets doing THE SAME THING only hours later with one finger up to the Police.

Its just WRONG.

Have you tried contacting your local central office / councillor / mp etc??

dont call write to them - then they have to do something (send it recorded!! :y)

where abouts are you from? pm me - I may be able to help you (legally).

You should contact your local Safer Neighbourhoods team. They could at least do a basic "knock on the door" investigation, maybe find out who the people they threw out were etc... Chances are it will come to nothing, even though it is Criminal Damage, due to the amount of paperwork and time it will take and the fact that the CPS will not even look at it as there were no witnesses!  :-/
It's a sh!t state of affairs, but it's the system that we are stuck with!  :-?
Hope the egg comes off the car!  ;)
