Title: Can this be so?
Post by: Nickbat on 26 May 2010, 23:07:36
Allegedly a multiple choice question from a GCSE Chemistry paper sat today:

Q. What fluid is used in the home for drinking and washing?

A. Water, Copper, Salt or Soap?

Caution: fruity language (perhaps unsurprisingly)

surely the point of an examination is to grade academic achievement, asking a question that 99% of students can answer correctly absolutely defeats the purpose........if most of them get an A, how does an employer separate the wheat from the chaff?  :o
