I'm glad we came last, and are LOSSERS.

The retards who decide such things need to realise that talent show picking of candidates is not going to put us at a disadvantage against professional performers.

So, ditch the Graham Norton Thinks You Have Talent 'dangle berries', give us back PROPER saturday night entertainment, AND BAN EVERY rather SHOW THAT INVOLVES PHONE VOTING  >:(

Oh, and ban that irratating idiot Norton from the telly as well  >:(

we could put the rolling stones in and we'd still come last - it seems europe hates the UK - i'd guess because we're too close to the US

plus we never need to qualify as the beeb (i think) is one of the main contributors, basically if us and germany pulled out - eurovision wouldnt happen..................i used to listen to sir tel banging on about it  :y

Totally rather agree with EVERY word. So many live bands deserving coverage and we get this cheesy tripe with a liberal sprinkling of B.S.

However i fully expext Hotel21 to come along and edit your post, as he rather did mine last week.
 ;D ;D ;D

oh well never mind.

NEIN, NEIN, NEIN!!!  >:(

Eurovision is mint!!  :y

It's the FUNNIEST singing(??) show on tv!!  ;D

Each country votes for each other & the only reason Germany won was because her record has been released all over Europe (except UK thank God!!)  ::)

Let's face it its extremely rare for ANY Eurovision record to end up in our charts so let the sad buggers have their one night of fame!!  ;D

As for Graham Norton comparing well our Tel can never be replaced ........ except by maybe ........ Stuart Hall. Can u imagine?? It would be hilarious from beginning to end & a lot of wet pants!!  :-[ :-[ :-[

abba, waterloo. sandies shaw, puppet on a string. every other winner in the past has been total poo.
i just caught the voting last night and had the impression they were voting was for us to come last.

i thought germany's was quite good...in a pseudo lily allen way, i preferred the Armenia entry with the hot babe banging on about apricots tho, and the robo-chick from turkey(was it?) who stripped to reveal a pvc catsuit and boots was....interesting  ::)

Hurray!! :D :D :D :D :D

I actually got through the whole of yesterday evening without seeing any of that fabricated rubbish!! 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

Of course we lost yet again because we don't use all the commercial talent that normally creates world leading music.  Why?  Because all the new cool greats wouldn't be seen dead anywhere near this false contest!! ::) ::) ;) ;)

As usual i still love to sit through this annual parade of Euro-shite and have a good laugh at their pathetic attempts to catch up with the "scene" but are always so out dated -  a change from last year's punk scene but maybe one or two good songs for a change - Britain's 80's tuneless retro Pop was passed over for 80's power ballads, then Lily Allen's little German cousin stumbles on the glass stage and blurts out the winning "song".... :-?

can't wait to see next year's!   ;D
