Has a child's Battery Powered Vintage Car that I bought 8 years ago as a Brum Project for Miss Vamps, but for a number of reasons it never got touched..... ::) ::) ::)
Thought about ebay but the 'Toys' section not right as this needs restoration, so took advantage of last weeks free listing in Motors and put it in the Classic Car section :D
Listed it with no reserve and a start price of £50 and have turned down to cash offers out of ebay, the first for £70, thought I was pushing my luck but never mind.
Anyway £103 this morning up to £127 (88 watchers)and within the last 5 minutes there was a flurry of bidding and sold for £281........well chuffed :y :y :y
Even if this buyer drops out there are several within a few pounds in the wings, one who came to see the car today..... ;D ;D
Trouble is, Miss Vamps wants half, that was ok at £50... ::) ::) ::)

Well to be fair, if you bought it for her then all the proceeds are hers, but if you give her half then you still have £140.50 and from the sounds of things you would have been happy with £127, so you are £13.50 better off than you thought you were going to get overall, and even half of that was to be hers.
look at the possitive and not the negative. :y :y
You would only spend it on her any way. ::)

the money will only be blown on handbags and shoes.
