As recommended by someone on here, i use Kaspersky (think that's how it's spelled).
It's excellent :y :y :y
If you have a Barclays account, it's free :)

Hi There. If you want the best anti-virus out there i'd go for ESET's NOD32. It ain't cheap, but there isn't anything it doesn't pick up. Plus the throughput of files that it scans on the fly without a drop in system performance is very impressive, which is what sealed it for me  :y

If you've a Barclays account, just pop into their bank & activate your online account. Once done it's dead easy, just follow the links, Kaspersky send you a activation code & you're away :)

I have used Norton on home pcs and a couple of laptops - updates and upgrades are easy - I do not use the website to back up though as it is not cost effective. No problems with Norton - if it has been working fine for you then continue.

I have McAfee in my netbook (it came with it) and that is fine as well.

if you want a free one updated regularly try AVG.

takes a few clicks to get the free bit but worth it.

I'm using a 6-month free trial of Bullguard and it does seem to be very good, plus it has 24/7 support and comes with an online 5000Mb backup facility (which I schedule each night).

Just looked at their homepage and you can have a 60-day free trial.  :y
