My goodness, looking at those questions just makes me think of how little I know about football, or any sport for that matter! :o :o ::) ::)

Now my eldest son, Lewis, would know the answers and a lot more! :D :D 8-) 8-)

9. Walter Zenga of Italy managed to go 8.5hrs without wetting his bed - KEPT CLEAN SHEETS!!

Question 5 I'll admit is a trick question, Brazil did own the original when they won it for the 3rd time in 1970......but they don't own the original trophy anymore......::)

it was melted down wasnt it, fifa own it now.

Brazil were awarded it "for keeps" after they won it 3 times, the original trophy was kept at the Brazilian FA headquarters and placed in a cabinet with missile proof glass at the front.....unfortunately the wooden back was prised off by thieves and stolen in 1982.......it's never been recovered (probably melted down for the gold), Brazil were given a replica  :o :o

I was only ten at the time......but what a great game....... :y :y :y :y

I was too young to remember 1970 final.....first final I recall is the 1978 Argentina vs Netherlands....all that colour.....all that ticker tape....amazing looking spectacle - if Im honest I remember few of the details...I know the Argies won 3-1?  :y

There is a clip of the 1970 final on youtube BJ...The Brazilians  had a player called Pele back then.... ::) ;)

As previously stated - no one knows as it was stolen (again) in 1982 and never retrieved  :o
