mum goes home this afternoon, she has 2 blocked arteries which will be treated with drugs and regular visits to hospital for check ups.
now its my bloody turn :(
the pain in my shoulder is not muscle but severe arthritis so now i have to have botox in the spine and the shoulder has to be scrapped and treated as the arthritis is so bad. isnt it great getting old

Just like taxes, something we have to accept is inevitable.
Aches and pains don't seem to come until later life, and then all at once for some.
hope you are feeling better soon.
Mike.

Great news about your mum Richie 8-) - not so good about you, but that's one of the drawbacks of getting old - like the rest of us. ;D ;D :-/

Ahh, there's a clue to your problem Richie! Almost every guy I know who has played the game into middle age beyond teenage ::) has worn out/damaged joints especially in the lower spine & shoulders!! :(
You just have to learn to live with it mate, but modern drugs should make it bearable (just). :y
It's great news about your Mum mate, I told you she was made of strong stuff!! :y

shes a tough one me mum, 3 heart attacks now and always went back to work. she may be 77 next week but as she said last week, "im not ready to go yet". mind you people in the 70s got out of bed and got on with it instead of this huge incentive to live on benefits like there is now.
