and ALL consecutively numbered.....
Going past my late grandmother's house, now my uncle's house in Nelson.
Picture 2 is the village where I was born and Picture 3 is the village where I was brought up until I left home at 18.
Oh the glory days, and I worked in CDP when I was very young as an assistant cook during my college days.
Oh memories.

Never fails to amaze me when Good looking women are passionate about big moving machinery.............
Attractive though, in a funny sort of way..........
Poetry in motion, don't you think when a large old steam train goes by from a bygone age when men sweated like pigs , and ladies merely glowed........ 8-)

When I was about 8 or 9 I had a Hornby model of 76079 (when Hornby still made metal model and tracks)
I think it is still at my dads some 30 years later in the loft gathering dust.

This is a wonderful site, full of old photographs with a heavy slant on railways and steam.
But particulary interesting if you like pictures of old Brum.
