Not having any probs here with Voda 3g+, most Networks have there moments though.

Try deleting your User and Password to nothing its not required on any Network, also if your software allows you to set the APN to dynamic (Sim based), might speed your intial setup connection faster.

Updated your sim to a newer one is never a bad idea, forgot to metion are you using Vodafones Software, think they call it DashBoard or something, if so, check for updates.

Personally minded the Vodafone Dashboard Software stinks, if youve got a new'ish 3g dongle or card then theres a good chance it will be made by Huawei, if so download Huawei's Mobile Partner Software, its free on the Net and is Network independent, and works a lot better.

im on contract and it is huawei's but never had up date it has never found one, only started other week sim is just year old, but dongle has to be out side as walls to thick in house dont get signal for 3g or gprs only calls, funny though the transmitter is just a mile away on a hill. dongle has preload on it as tryed with other softwear just conflicted with each other.

Transmitter is less than a 1/2 mile from me, i am lucky to get any signal!

Its possible local one to you has been turned off for maintenance or has a fault
