Title: Hope there aren't any vampires in Suffolk
Post by: jereboam on 20 June 2010, 19:06:35
Due to strong winds, the support for our apple tree broke.

I found some bits of wood to make a new support, and I tried to put a point on them using a small axe I just happened to have lying around. It's very difficult to do.

It looks so easy when Van Helsing does it. :)

Yeah, but I'm not a child.

And I was never in the scouts, or any other paramilitary organisation for that matter.  But I do watch a lot of vampire shows on the telly.

You remember how cowboys used bash each other over the head with chairs in saloon brawls in the old westerns?  Nowadays, movie chairs break in such a way that the good guy is left holding a pointed weapon of just the right proportions for skewering a vampire.  Brilliant, isn't it?

Wonder where I can buy that sort of chair?

'Ere, why are you called Vamps? :(
