Indeed, they don't exactly do a lot of work during the week either.
Give Citizens Advice Bureau a ring...
-
Citizens Advice, you need an appt with them and then have to wait a few weeks for one around these parts.
Good Luck.
-
All Citizens Advice Bureau offer drop in sessions, no booking needed, you discuss your situation then come back for an appointment if needed. Can also do this by phone
-
My point exactly, you drop in and if a solicitor is needed come back in a few weeks when appt available.

No. You inferred an appointment was needed with the Bureau, in most cases a Solicitor is not needed, most issues can be resolved by the Bureau's advice alone.

Now now children -- what IS it with you two these days :-?
We have no idea what the issue is, so cannot tell whether or not CAB is the place to be, so why argue (again) over it ?

Back on topic......
As a manager of 30 odd years am knowledgeable in employment law. Can offer some advice depending on the problem via PM, will help if I can.

I'm disturbed to see that object apparently putting two fingers up..............................................to the viewer :o :o
Still, it's rather impressive is it not? :-* :-*

You won't find any solicitors on here.
For a start, no solicitor would be seen dead driving a 10 year old car.
And second, there's no mechanism for charging for their words of wisdom on OOF.
:)
-
:o The wife once got done for soliciting ,does that count? :y
-
if it is employment tribunal stuff or internal appeals you can pm me as well

Back to op - It might be worth googling free lawyers consulation. There is a scheme called i think lawyers for business which we have used at work where they give you a list of local solicitors who give 30 minutes of free advice. It has helped our workplace in the past and you have nothing to lose!

Thread heavily pruned to remove childish, playground, tittle tattle that is tedious in the extreme. Will post seperately about same shortly.
To the Original Poster - Hopefully you were not discouraged by the addition of the aforesaid rubbish and that the thread is now sufficiently back on course such that you get a serious response to what is undoubtedly a serious subject to your good self. :y
-
Firstly, as it's work related is the person concerned in a union?
Unions usually have a firm of solicitors they use who have a specialist in employment law, not only that they will pick up the bill for the member.
Secondly I believe some household insurance policies come with legal protection type insurance which may support a case.

I would repeat my advice (as my innocent post has been removed for some reason!) that the CAB are excellent in giving good advice and taking action as required.
In addition if it is in relation to employment law then try ACAS for advice:

;) ;)
