Went to bed early last night after the weekend's excesses and I was just nodding off when the car alarm decided to wake the street up.
Tigger was still up so she found my keys and reset the alarm, a few minutes later here we go again. As it was around midnight I thought I'd better drag myself up and sort it out so throw my jeans on, find the Gnome's netbook and out with the "My Naff Code Reader".
I got in the car started to plug in to check the alarm log and the fault suddenly became obvious.
Fluttering against the driver's window was a moth, which must have flown in whilst we were packing the car on Sunday morning.
So door opened, moth flew off, job sorted and a quiet night for all.
Bloody Lakeland wildlife.
Still he'll have a fair old flap back to Keswick, I wonder if he's back yet?

So glad i read this topic, as my alarm went off earlier in the evening, moved the mig as i assumed that berries falling off the tree was tripping it, It went off again about 5 minutes ago, so had a look round the cabin with a torch and found a small moth, chased it out and reset the alarm- hopefully cured!
