Title: online banking problems
Post by: Richie London on 24 June 2010, 09:28:33
what a bloody nightmare it is, my card has been suspended as i have put in the wrong security code twice. i.d, security code and password. 2nd time ive done it wrong this year. now i have to go to the bank and sort it out again. i'm on my 5th card since december as they numbers have faded out and i cant read it. abbey know its a problem but have done nothing to sort it out for the past 3 years. i'm getting right pee'd off with it now.

Move banks, As regards the security code (is that the PIN? if it is that can be unlocked at a cash point) you can normally reset over the phone. card quality the numbers rub off on most cards, especially if you use a plastic holder, get a fabric or leather wallet/card holder that should slow the rubbing issue :y

If its the security number on the back that has faded/scraped off.. which seems to be a common fault with all these cards.. a little trick that does work is to put a small strip of sellotape over the numbers when the card first arrives. Protects the print and stops it dissapearing.  :) made my last card actually last until its expiry date !!!
