Title: PCO licence
Post by: tunnie on 28 June 2010, 09:45:24
I'd like to keep my options open when my flat purchase is complete, i want the ability to earn a little more money on the side if the need arises. Noticed there are a lot of part time chauffeur jobs near my new flat, but they all require a PCO licence.

From what i can tell its not nearly as complicated as the official London Taxi driver one, you have to plan routes using maps, to destinations in London & UK cities, and know all the main roads.

Tests cost just £50, and thought due to my 3 days on 3 days off shift structure, it gives me ability to earn more money if i need it. (hoping won't have to)

Has anyone done the PCO Topographical test? If so what was it like?

Looks exceedingly simple ...

In fact it is basic common sense that every driver on the road should have !!

Yeah it does look fairly simple, used the A-Z when in Wales. Might need to refresh my memory on all Motorways off M25 but thats about it!
