Any scrapyard owners (or friends of) in the Cheshire/stoke area here?
Someone stole my Omega from the yard it was being stored in last week (Macclesfield) before I got the pennies to buy the crank sensor and get it back on the road - and I can only imagine they winched/hiabbed it before scrapping it, as I have all keys and the battery was dead.
I think its the p***y scrap metal scavengers that are like rats round here, but I really wanna see them come to justice, as I'm even worse off than I was before - what a WASTE of time and money I haven't got (x2).
R579 HMV / Gold / Z489 / 3.0 / Auto / Elite / Saloon / Body Coloured / ding to passenger side rear panel/door.
I've reported to the police already. As I was skint, I needed time to find 70 quid for a sensor before I'd even started saving to do the TLC. This meant it wasn't insured or taxed, and was stored off the public road. Basically whoever nicked it has stolen from the poor, hence making them the scum of the earth.
Any news greatly appreciated guys, I'm well gutted.

That is not good Mate, hope they catch who-ever took it.
My own car was off the road for only 2 days before the first gang of scrap men came knocking... it's like they can smell a car that is at the end of it's useful life!

Couldn't put it better myself. I hope they get found and lynched.

Any banger racing tracks in your area? Migs are popular with racers who dont care about sensors as they sling 2.0 pintos in 'em. I used to race but always bought my cars. I know some would hiab nearly new XJ jags alarm going off or not on a friday, strip 'em saturday, race 'em Sunday, weigh 'em in on monday...No names or pack drillbut it might be worth a look. Guy.

It was on private land, I checked with the police and council first thing, its definitely been nicked for scrap. I'm dying to catch them.
So, anyone got a set of 2.5 ht leads to fix my old one.....lol :-[
