.. not only for giving me the motivation to pull my finger out and finish stripping down the Westfield.
.. and not only for helping out spanner wielding yesterday evening to sort out the last few details.
but also for towing a trailer all the way down here (let's face it, I'm almost in France) and towing it back up to Westfield with the chassis on.
Much appreciated. :y

I'll borrow / hire a trailer and bring it back behind the Omega. Quite soon, it seems. The guy at Westfield asked what timescales were like for me and I said well - whenever it's done. Could have knocked me down with a feather when he suggested Monday. :o Had a new front half chassis built ready and waiting for me. :y

aaaaah shucks.
finally got home at 1am this morning. 1240-mile round trip
was empty-handed, too - I couldn't get the last car I needed loaded.

Are Westfield also doing the nose cone? I still have some epoxy and fibreglass here if you need :y

Oh, no! :(
I hope it wasn't the time spent at Westfield that scuppered your plans.

No. Going to tackle the nose myself. The damage is mostly cosmetic with a one of the mounting flanges having broken off and the other feels like it is a bit weak so should be reasonably easy to sort out with a few more layers. I'll see if I can get some pictures in the next few days.
