Title: England Meets Scotland Update
Post by: Chopsdad on 22 April 2007, 23:52:08
Destination confirmed.  Just need you guys to add your name to the updated list of when you need a pitch.

My ISP has been off line all day today, so I'll pop in when I can and will take care of the booking when I know exactly what we need.  We're already 90% there so this should see us home  :y

Outside of the forum you would be classed as a 'normal' so you may of course attend  8-)

Do you have the name of the road it's on, there's only a postcode on their website?

Not sure if it has a name - but if you search via AA it comes up as unclassified.

Nearest village is Threlkeld and nearest tourist area is Caslerigg Stone Circle.  Turn left after Threlkeld following brown tourist sign to Castlerigg and the campsite is less than a mile off the A66

Just thought I would try putting it in the Sat Nav (if I can get it to work again  ::)).

I plan on coming off the M6 at J36 & taking the scenic route past Windermere  :)
