I was out in the truck lastnight for a 7am Burnley tip. Got there, no probs. Empty back to Immingham, then a 3pm Runcorn (B&Q) tip. Swapped over & got to Runcorn @ 2.30 pm, all good. Got tipped, made it back to Immingham only to find out when i swapped over i picked up the wrong delivery note, loaded tomorrows Burnley container & tipped it @ Runcorn... :-? ::) :'( Tomorrow i have to tip an afternoon Burnley in the morning, run the empty to Runcorn to reload what i should'nt have tipped there today, then take it back to Burnley.
This is going to cost my gaffer a fortune in B&Q Runcorns loading charges, diesel & he's still got to get Runcorns load to them, AND it messes up Fridays work!!!!!
And it's all my fault! :'( :'( :'(

ouch! I see sh.... rubbish jobs for you on the horizon! :'(

Looks like your gaffer just got himself a new MOT wash boy for a few weeks. ;D ;D

Well mate it's an easy mistake to make I suppose. At least you've held your hands up so that'll work in your favour I suppose :y
Hope all goes well.

When your boss shouts at you just remind him about that foreign lorry driver who ended up at Gibraltar point in Lincolnshire instead of Gibraltar the little island south of Spain. How much in fuel was that little mistake :-[ :-[

scheisen happens,im quite sure in the past you will of done things to save your boss money but they quickly forget them times :y

Thanks for the SYMPATHY!!! It gets worse..really. Another of our drivers was sent to Runcorn today with an empty box to pick up the load...48 pallets. He only loaded 38 as B&Q/DHL in thier infinate wisdom had sent 10 to an asda store. Trouble is they were bagged up as co-op!!! My office is trying to say the load should'nt have been tipped in the first place, let alone sent out. My gaffer is still going to have to pay for the 10 pallets to be found & sent to Burnley. I'm home tonight but have to tip another Burnley @ 7am tomorrow, empty back, swap over & run to Runcorn to tip the load the should've had in the first place which means a friday night out for me as i won't get back on my driving hours. Lastly my gaffer has to pay a subby to do the job i was going to do tomorrow.
I am officially the winker of the week!!! :-[
