Title: sport grill
Post by: mahony on 22 April 2007, 14:35:17
Any one tried one of these grills on their omega ?,i am tempted to spray it silver for my dark blue omega elite.the main reason for wanting to change is that some scum bag nicked the chrome 'v' of my irmscher grill and a replacement from vauxhall is £193 and thats in primer, apparently they dont sell the chrome 'v' as a seperate bit (even thou it comes off seperately).

Have seen several Omega's with them on, they look mint....  Silver should look preety good with the blue, maybe pick out the edge with balck.. who knows!!...  try looking on the net for galleries on Omega's Auto Bahn Stormers for example and even on here...  someone else may have already done it for a compare!!!!!

I'm moving this to the General Chat area, as it's not really an Omega Help problem.

Sorry I don't like it...just my personal opinion. I think the chrome V of the vauxhall finishes of the front of the car perfectly.. especially the Elite IRMSHER(i know i spelt it wrong) grill.

But if you like it... go for it!

I think the point is that instead of saying 'oh, he's driving an ageing Vauxhall', onlookers would say 'what on earth is that?'

Anyway, I've got a facelift and this is tempting...:

ive seen those for the facelift too, actually i think they look better than the pre-facelift ones,i have seen a omega somewhere with the chrome 'v' and black moulding removed and replaced with black mesh, this in my opinion looks better as the mesh area is not as great.
