:o Had 150 mm. in my rain-gauge today.....`more to come tomorrow, too! :o
After weeks of water shortages it feels like it`s either "feast or famine" with water here! :'(
-
Can honestly say it pissed it down somewhere in Northumberland last week every day, we only ever wore our raincoats once all week.
We seemed to dodge all the rain mainly, we moved around alot.

That's the trouble with this neck of the woods ,when the weather is good :y when it's bad,it's a tad depressing :'(
-
it has been sweltering all day and still like it now. very draining.
-
rain is welcome here, but lightning in the middle of night no >:(
yesterday at 4:50:33 am ,two lightnings flashed on our street nearly with a distance of 40 meters (approx)
caused an atomic bomb sound that passed the open windows and jumped us from the sleep in shock :o :o >:(
how do I know ? I watched from the camera record :(

Can't remember the last time we had more than a light shower at home... Shouldn't complain but it's a tad hot and sweaty!
Temperature inside the house hasn't dropped below about 26, degrees AFAICT for weeks as we've not been home to have the windows open long enough! Makes it quite uncomfortable for sleeping.
-
Been a glorious day here here, my right arm has caught the sun. ::)

Lucky you, I'm praying for some rain and fall in temperature.
Here it is constantly +35 degrees Celcius during the day and 30 during the night.
Haven't had a good night sleep for God knows how long

Don't envy you. I hate those clammy nights, puts you in a real bad mood all day.

I have basically hardly seen any rain of note since early June. Last week we had rain here but I was in Washington DC where it was sweltering and very humid with just one massive thunderstorm.
I have now put a watering system around back garden with timer etc as being out there with a lance every night is not water or time efficient.
-
Weeks without rain in Suffolk, except for one day, when it bucketed down and all the roads flooded.
It's costing a fortune to water the garden - we're on a meter. :(
Why can't we have a hour of medium rain every night? I blame the last Government - Ole Miseryguts came here for a holiday. :( :( :(
-
send some down here we will take it
Im down the road from you mate and certainly second that! Am taking little un to see Toy Story3 later today and not looking forward to the Hollywood without aircon!
-
I'm sitting here in shorts with all the windows and doors open and just watched a lady on BBC News reporting from Wales with a thick coat and scarf on!! It seemed quite out of place.
-
same as Chris_H, down here in Wycombe....shorts and all doors open :y
Out to the chair in the garden now with my can of Strongbow ;D
-
I suggest for all you Britts who are sick of rain to come here, but don't plan to stay too long cause you'll get sick of the sun and heat soon ;D

;) Actually, I decided my old butt wasn`t big enough and the nice-chap in the hardware store in Denbigh, agreed!
So, I had a helpful bloke `round this afternoon, helping man-handle my new, enlarged-butt into a more useful position out-back. :y
It`ll take longer to pump my new larger butt as it`s got a 200 litre capacity. ;)
