Had to smile Spain supports it but many rural properties do not have mains drinking water and may never have. ;D ;D
Where would countries find the money from to put in
the infrastructure?

I think that trying to enshrine human rights in law defeats the objective. It weakens the right.
A person either has rights or does not. It is down to other individuals to recognise those rights and respond accordingly.
It is only because selfishness is being promoted (in the West at least) that there is a perceived need to save some values by way of the statute book. >:(

if those countries spend less money for their armies and guns , clean water would not be a problem now >:(

If the UN spent its annual travel bill on this idea, it would be a help:

The idea that the UN cadre would do anything to interrupt their position of privilege and plenty is laughable - that’s another outfit that needs to be turned inside out. >:(
Very innovative idea all the same (filter) :y

The sad part is that we elect daft, power-hungry politicians into power. You use the term "we", but wrongly in my view. I think there are actually many humans who do know how to cure these problems, but they have no voice. The elite takes the decisions. :(

while the big bucks are made irrigating deserts for golf courses and cheap supermarket friendly crops that'll never change - unless we demand it, but we're too hung up on the cost of everything to truly judge the value of anything :( :o
