I had one of those when I was a lad, Daytona yellow 2 door with tombstone seats, bought it minus engine and put a 2000gt v4 Capri engine in it. Wish I still had it...

Very nice Guy, early dash model as well, in my opinion the better one..... :y
Good luck, you never know.. :y :y

I had a Daytona yellow 2 door 1600GT which was retro fitted with a 1600 GT X-flow ala Mk2 1600 E/GT,
Must admit the 2 doors are way prettier but even despite the seats this one looks a peach!!! :D

oh god, had a 1.3 ex reps mk111, during the ahem customising days!!
it then had a 1600 with bcf cam and twin choke weber thrown in,
then had a 2 litre pinto,
then a 3 ltre v6,essex blew that up :o
then a daimler 2.5v8, just for the noise you understand!
the last incarnation before i sold it was a rover v8 3.5 from a p6 went like stink!!!! unfortunately, the car started off red then was resprayed rover caribean blue, was jacked up 4 inches at the rear, with 15x10inch rear wolfies, and 13x7 front wolfies, a dralon buttoned interior and chrome side pipes, and through out all the engine changes etc it still only had the 1.3 front discs and rear axle!! never changed them and they never broke!! how im still alive i dont know!!! lol :y

We had one just like this one as a company pool car. Remember using it, when my company Granada was in for service, on an icy morning and bouncing both back wings off the sides of a narrow bridge just after an S-bend. Hardly any damage to the bridge (and very little to the Mk3)

Love it mate, you seem to have the same taste in cars as me - hope you get it :y
