Title: Scratch remover
Post by: Plomien on 15 August 2010, 09:12:26
Just saw this https://www.grabitnow.com/deals/car/

CarTek Scratch Repair Tool Kit
Easy-To-Use and Get your Car Looking Great Again
for £3.95 free delivery and what was more ironic was it started advertising on the channel I was watching.
If its as good as it says on the advert then it will save a lot of messing around :y

Offer only in place for next 14 hours 50 mins

I have just ordered one. For £3.95 it has to be worth a try.

Thanks for the heads up :y

Especially when the tv channel is advertising it (with 2 Polish bottles) for £30 + P&P :y

Seems to good to be true....
I think it must only do scratches that have only buffed the lacquer, because if its through to primer or body, then I cannot see how a clear liquid can work.
I have used a colour set from Halfords that includes primer colour and laquer and that works fine.
Hope the Grabbit stuff works for you  :y

I've used, and still got a Mer scratch kit.
That seemed to work well, for lightish scratches though. I used it also when filling in deep scratches with paint/lacquer, then flat with wet n dry paper and buff up with the Mer scratch remover :y
