You could try googling mindjolt games or popcap or just free to play games.
   I think they are also known as flashgames.

I can only play games that only need the mouse. Can't get on with arrow keys for some reason. Is thier a joypad i could buy & plug in somewhere? :-?

Wired Xbox 360 controller will plug straight in mate, or you can get an adapter to use the wireless controllers on a pc.

Evening John. I've got a couple of ps2 controllers!! So in a nutshell do i go & buy a standard XBox 360 controller & if so where shall i stick it?...erm...where should it plug in...tower?

Thought you had an xbox mate.
I've no idea about ps2 controllers tbh but a 360 wired controller will just plug into your usb socket in your tower and be seen as a controller for games that support them.
Alternative is a joystick/joypad for a pc.
PC world usually have a nice selection you can have a look at then buy cheaper elsewhere.

Not been in staples for ages but they may well sell em, craplins too.
Pissy world always used to have a decent selection on display so you can decide what feels comfy in your hand.
