Title: Best spot treatment
Post by: Del Boy on 13 August 2010, 16:49:46
Any old remedies on here for spots. My son usually has quite clear skin but has a huge spot on his chin which when it's had the slightest head on it he's picked it, now it's huge and I mean huge, looks like he's got a space hopper stuck to his chin, he's been using spot cream on it, but it's not really touching it. Of course being the stud he is and being out with the ladels he needs it gone tonight by his meaning ;D

Any idea's, i've told him no picking doesn't go in.

Might have got infected. Perhaps a bit of antiseptic would be a good plan. No miracle cure will touch it by tonight though.

Sounds like no laydeez this weekend. ;D

Germailine -

If he continues to pick then have a chat with the shemist, there is something called ???? peroxide (cant remember its name)  dries the spot, makes him burn and the thought of picking again may well be a no no, cured my sister.

Never known F***y fat to burn the skin off del :-? ;D
As for the real answers to your question;, yes, yes, & it's nobodys business but your own! Tell him to start by tightly fastening a crash helmet to his head, then put a small amount of peroxide into a saucer/eggcup, and dip a clean cloth/cotton bud or whatever into warm water. Dip the wet article into the peroxide, shake off the excess & dab gently over the affected area. Repeat if necessary (or hard enough 8-)), skim over the cracks in the ceiling caused by the crash helmet & the jobs a good 'un :y ;D

Boots, all chemists and some big supermarkets

Would be better with some on as he goes to bed, just ask the chemist about using H Perozide on the spot if it is as bad as you say, and take him with you when you ask  then get the germaline for when it starts to sure, make sure there is never a hard crust to pick at

He dabbed the smallest amount on his face which done a bit of skin ;D. Then quite cleverly he tried savlon and some spot stuff which is a fiver a bottle which has cleared him up really well. I need to get the ingredients and sell it as my own unique brand now because it does work :y

Leave it alone until it's like vesuvius and about to pop then gently pierce it with a sterile needle, gently empty it with a clean tissue, no squeezing or it will swell up and go red!   :y

I used to be very spotty!
