Well, as long as there are nice condition Omega's out there, I will keep going buy them. :)

I recently bought myself this:

A 1998 16v CD-Reflection Estate, with 112.000 miles on the clock, for just 1000€.

So now along with my father's 2.5 facer, we have now 2 Mig's infront of our house.  :D

Inreplaceble cars. ;)

I don't do many miles so the fuel for the 3.0 manual does'nt hurt really. On a run (without the caravan)  i can average mid to late 30's without trying too hard, urban is low 20's so can't complain really. If i were to sell the car i'd only get a grand for her despite all the Elite goodies & maintenance, £1200 at a push if someone really wanted her. TBH if i got £2000 for her i don't think i could buy anything i'd like better. After 2 years i still enjoy every mile. I wanted this car at the first Lakesmeet 4 years ago. She was'nt for sale then, so now ive got her i'm keeping her. LPG is an option but given my low miles it would take me forever to recoup the cost.
We all make mistakes. The moral of this story is :- Be careful what you wish for!!! ::)
