Title: bloody potholes

just bounced my 330d into a pothole on a corner after meeting a lorry coming on the middle of the road. two 18'' wheels broken and tyres cut too. what a start to the weekend :(

took photos of the potholes and the car with two flat wheels,and the car being winched onto the recovery truck.fingers crossed!

It's a nightmare with big wheels, I've got spider alloys on my 525 touch wood not hit any potholes hard enough yet.

Try and get something off the council.

(but dont mention that bmw wheels seem to be prone to damage moreso than others!!)

you wont believe this....last night headed off to see my girlfriend who lives about 30 miles away,took my wee van,2007 berlingo,was going up a hill when i met a scania tipper,BANG! big stone came off it ang hit the windscreen,huge crack!! so i followed the truck,the guy was sound about it,gave me £150 cash on the roadside! lucky too cos my insurance doesnt cover windscreens! what a day! :o

That up there with the time my father in law went through 2 windscreens in a day..

one the way to a job, big stone, windscreen totalled, stopped at a place near where he was got a new one.

went to the job, and on the way home, same again, stopped at the SAME garage for a new one  ;D ;D ;D

he did get the 2nd very cheap

Bad news. Make sure you get plenty of photos of the pot hole preferably with some sort of gauge in shot to show the depth and the size of the hole

Bloody Hell, that was lucky, most truck drivers would give you abuse and tell you to break off  ;D
