Not got anywhere to store it :(
-
Put it in the loft or garage for when you move out
-
If you don't want it put it on the street, will be 'gone in 30 seconds' ::) ::) ::)

Cost in fuel for the 3.0 on a return trip would be same as a new door, i'll just put it with bins out back if no one wants it in a few days :y

i took a door off and got rid of it, it was a pain. as i live in a flat, and all doors must be fire rated if i have a fire i would not be able to claim on the insurance. so if it is one you have taken off look into it before you throw it out

You look into windows Richie, not doors.

I really do believe you do look into windows. Most of the rest of us confine our activities to looking out of them. :)

Yep, I'd certainly lick one if I had the chance. :y

This door is solid wood, it would burn, so removing it would probably help!

Most domestic fire doors are Mark ;D the difference is they have a Intumescent strip around the door perimeter that holds back the heat & smoke & are designed to last for a good length of time before burning through, that's what Richey meant by checking before ditching the door. :y

Indeed Phil. Most internal doors I've worked on are just a honeycomb of cardboard with a millionth of an inch of ply glued to it. ;D

Agree with that, but put a sign on it saying solid wood, a fake phone number and a price of say £30.00. That will gaurantee it will disapear. :y ;D ;D ;D

Yes STMO, I've bought & fitted a fair few of those in my time. Get the size wrong & after a quick shave with the plane, you've either got nothing to screw the hinges to or else nowt to fit the lock set in! ;D ;D ;D ;D :y
