Title: Had a busy day
Post by: Auto Addict on 20 August 2006, 18:41:45
Been giving a little TLC to my wifes 13yr old Renault clit (you've guessed) auto.

Cleaned most of the underside, treated patches that needed it with Kurust (very little actually), then treated with Waxoyl including brake pipes etc.

The car has been garaged from new, what a difference it makes, only 24K miles on the clock.

Never figured out what the 3rd pedal was for, cause if you get the revs. right, you don't need to use the 3rd pedal, up or down. It used to be a fact, lorry drivers always used to change gear without useing the clutch.

I'm taking my wifes for its MOT on thursday. I'll have to spend an hour cleaning it out first or I'll be too ashamed to drop it off!
