I just sent this polite message:
Hello mate, just to let you know, this is not the gearbox selector switch. These are simply the selection LEDs. The Gbox selector is on the passenger side of the gearbox, joined to the linkage, with a big multiplug on it. It's held on with 2 10mm bolts. you may need to update your ad, as the picture/disctiption doesn't tie up with the product that's offered. LED's won't affect the gearchange - indeed you can run the car fine without that LED panel in!! Hope this clears it up for you

As I know who this is, I am sure he will correct his listing. :)

You know, until your drama I thought that was the selector switch. ::)

Don't talk to me about the Elite, after getting the engine so perfect, to not be able to "drive" it beause the gearbox won't get out of limp mode is a real dissapointment!
I'm close to setting fire to it >:(
