You, me and AndyB makes (at least) three mate. Cracking cars the old Senny. I still aspire to find a rot free example ( not easy I know) and keep it forever as a summer weekend toy. :y

I had a K reg 2.0 auto CDX many years ago when it was'nt that old. Not enough grunt to do that but a lovely old cruiser.

I'd have another 3.0 Senator in a heart beat. But, I'd never achieve ownership again, as they are all rotten.
More comfortable than an Omega.... if only they 'went' as well [/controversial]

:-/ I don't think the senny came in 2.0 form. I thought it was only 2.5, 2.6, 3.0 and rare 4.0 litre

I definitely think my Senny was more comfy than my Omega, but the Omega goes better, well better than a 3l 12v, I think the senny 24v is like my 3.0 mig
There is a speciliast near me, next to his lockup on industrial estate the place is literally jam packed with old sennys/carltons, you can't move for them! He does top quality repairs on anything and everything to do with them. Wheel arches £400 side, thick skinned, brilliant. If i could find the right senny I'd keep it forever

and 3.6 Irmscher (12 valve?) :y :y
I think Guy must've missed out the word .... Carlton :y :y

I think my 3.0 24v Senny was at least as quick as a 3.0 Mig.And more economical than a 2.5 Mig. ;)

I owned an Ex Thames Valley police 3.0 12v Senny loved it to bits handled better than my MV6, a big old go any where barge.
-
I had this one for 13 years.

Those clear Irmscher indicators are rarer than rocking horse poo ...... and bloody expensive if you ever see them for sale. :y
