Title: Weird new neighbours
Post by: Martin_1962 on 28 August 2010, 15:40:43
Got new neighbours two doors up.

Very odd.

If use or our neighbours are outside and they are in their car they will wait until we go away, we arrived back from town - they struggled to get in the door quick enough ;D ;D ;D ;D

Very odd people.

Our next door neighbour feels insulted! :(

They are on the witness protection programme. We They are told to act normal but not encourage unecesary contact with neighbours.  ;D ;D

There's a lot of strange folk down that way, Martin. If they don't fall in, burn them at the stake. ;D

Pop round with a bottle of wine and welcome them to the neighbourhood. They are probably just nervous about meeting the new neighbours.

....have you scared them Martin? Old laidy over the road has the same affect on me, if I hear her front door open, usually while working on the car, I walk straight inside and hide, if I don't I'll be stuck there for hours listening to her bang on about insignificant sh!te and roped in to clearing her guttering and checking tyre pressures/oil level and is my exhaust ok, she's pished half the time, can't go out some days. Help.   :'(.      ;D

i would imagine you dont know much about them given their behaviour but apart from their apparent fear of other humans, do they seem normal in other ways? ie out to work every day, normal appearance?

if they seem normal but dont want to acknowledge their neighbours, be quite vigilante!!

THe husband is glued to the settee most of Saturday, they have been out at night - heard the Taxi back so they do see other people.

It is the way they avoid contact which is creepy

You don't need to meet them, you seem to know enough about them already ;D ;D

You might wish to not know them once you've made contact ;D ;D

I try and avoid my neighbour opposite if at all possible, he's an idiot and his missus is always trying to get me to do little jobs. She's always got someone in doing work, cleaning, painting, gardening. Latest one was can I point brickwork.

We have met them - quick chat when they were moving in, but they were outside and had no choice but to say hello. ;D ;D

All I say is hello, not bothered about chatting, I just think they are odd.

They did ask to borrow some baking powder but we didn't have any.

If you do catch them they will say hello back ;D ;D

Lad at work also has some funny neighbours - I'll get the details on Tuesday

My last neighber had real issues with me.

She managed to catch me one night (Stalked actualy) as I returned home and put some rubbish in the bin before going indoors.  I hadnt seen her and I got "Why dont you ever speak to me"  TBH I was totally shocked but allways say hello and would personally leave it there. then I got we have been neighbers for 2 years etc.  I was totally gobsmaked she had some right old issues with me.

The truth is I had said hello the one and only time we had been outside together. but her husband was jet washing the bay windows and she hadnt heard me, so not my fault.

But I blanked her full stop after that and so then she tried on all sorts, they ripped down my fence and put up a full length 7' high panel fence. but the builder dumped all the limestone at the end of my garden and broke my shed window. things like rumaging though my bins to find out what I was up to.  Snooping round my garden and intercepting my parcels by telling them I was not in.

Later on I met the old couple the other side of her and got on with the lady  like a house on fire.  She was amazed how nice I actually was, I said this is me , take me or leave me, like me or lump me, if you dont like thats your problem as I aint changing for any one.  (Probably why I refuse to marry)

It seems I was the topic of many conversations, and every thing the lady had heard of me she was pleased to say she found to be completely untrue.

So sadly Martin I must be like your new neighber. ::)

That will have been to 'cut' their heroin stash into a more lucrative amount of 'wraps' Martin. Give it a few days/weeks & your neighbours will have more visitors than Alton Towers!  ;) ;D ;D.

Underground wiring here.

However I have seen trainers over cables on the way to my daughters school (I have to drive through a dumpy estate to avoud road humps) - I thought it was stupid kids - what is it?

It's the druggies equivalent of the pawnbrokers three brass balls or the barbers striped pole.
God knows why they chose trainers but basically it's the sign of a drug dealer in the area.

Sort it out then!  Daz (the washing powder, not DLK), in small plastic sealable bags.  Roughly a gram, or for more profit making purposes, 0.8 grams.  You cant get nicked (maybe) and you are milking the cash!  Not only that, all the young scrotes will have shiny, clean, 'Daz Fresh' noses.

It cleans at 30!
