Title: Cruise Control system

Can anyone tell how much the cruise systems are usually worth

Found a V6 with the stalk and motor and the scrappy want £100 would you say this is a fair price :question

Too expensive... going rate is about £50, sometimes even less if you get lucky. IIRC I paid £50 for mine, although I still had to buy a new brake switch and a clutch switch at typical VX rip-off prices  >:(

£100?

Seems a little bit pricey to me.  I would have thought that they would be less on e-bay.  Having said all this, I have not seen or looked for them mind.

Is it known to be good?

Well I only saw it yesterday all the necessary stuff to fit is there ie the brackets etc, the car itself was driven into the scrap yard and originally bought to break if that makes sense. Engine runs although now its got a few bits removed

I haven't seen it working so couldn't say for definate if it worked or not.

If all the switches are there Roy, and in good nick, I'd say it was worth it.

I said to the guy running the place I may go back for it, thing is its on a v6 not a 4pot so i'd need to invest in a cable for a 4pot boosting the price even more.

Its something to think about :y :-/ need to sort bodywork issues more importantly really

That price is an absolute joke!  >:(

Pay no more than £40 on ebay (I sold a complete setup including switch the other week)

Cheers LB66 at first when he told me the price I couldn't believe it but thought maybe as its all there ready to be taken off, shall keep an eye out on ebay theres no rush for it in any case.

Like you say and others have said the price is steep, think i'll just keep an eye on ebay to see if anything comes about :y
