typical god-botherers......sitting silently in judgement, refusing to help someone who could easily have cracked his head and died and finding the whole thing hilarious  :o

aren't jesus freaks meant to be compassionate? oh, wait....that's atheists  :y

I quite agree BJ.   The very least they could have done was to suggest to this victim of the Devil's buttermilk that he reverse his way up the hill thus allowing the resulting momentum to carry him swiftly to the top.

Had they done so it would have shown, yet again, that the true Christian spirit is alive and well in this topsy-turvy world and is as relevant today as it ever was.

Banjax I find your language highly offensive... firstly you're assuming that because somebody has rosary beads on their rear view mirror that they are Christian? It's most unlikely... people these day's often (wrongly) use rosary beads as fashion items. Lots of gang members in my area wear them & I don't see them at Church on Sunday. Everyone is entitled their own opinion regarding religious beliefs but your comments seem to be more of an unsolicited attack on Christianity than a view. Why would you refer to those who recognise the divinity of Christ as "Jesus freaks" and who are you calling "God-botherers" just Christians or do you mean Jews & Muslims too? If these idiots in the car had a star of david pendant hanging from the mirror would come on the forum making anti-semetic remarks? or how about Islamic prayer beads... would you make such remarks about the prophet muhammed? Banjax your comments have nothing to do with the thread & might be considered hate crime? I would know because I'm married to a police officer... for your reference I am a Christian (obviously) and for 15 years devoted my life to emergency medicine... so I don't know where you get off making such remarks, regards, steve.

p.s. if members post jokes on OOF that others find offensive thats a different matter. you have simply hijacked the thread to insult people.

Hatred of religion Christianity seems to be compulsory for those of a left wing mindset these days, not sure why tbh.
If those comments were posted about Islam or most other religions they would probably be removed for causing offence, and in the wider world could bring on a charge of hate crime from our left wing legislators. Quite peculiar. :-/

I'm afraid that Banjax is a militant atheist and is offensive to anyone who has a spiritual belief. I can understand people being against radical religious fervour, through which different faiths use their allegiance to attack others but, for me, I live by the tenet of each to his/her own.

Of course, you don't need two GCSEs to realise that the atheism he practices mimics religious extremism. He deplores anyone who has a faith and constantly tries to undermine them.

Sad really. :'(

Don't be too offended, though. I, too, am a Christian. I have friends who have different faiths, but mine serves me well. As I said: each to his/her own.  :y

in the 21 years i was with my x i managed to put our wedding off at least 6 times. "can we afford it" is a good excuse and it saved a fortune not getting a divorce  ;)

as they say the 3 most expensive days of a mans life
wedding,divorce and funeral
