You Now need to have 250 posts to sell ? What a JOKE ? ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
I wouldn't say getting skanked by unscrupulous sellers is a joke.
250 posts was introduced to try & avoid such actions.
If you don't like it, well tuff. The rules are there :y
They put off fly by night sellers who register just to sell, receive the monies & then disappear.

So, what are you saying Charlie?
Would you like to put your case of why the figure should be lower?

Im afraid it is you who is the joke, and one of the reasons for the increased limit.
You posted 50 useless posts, then a placed a very poor advert and refused to answer any questions on it, or provide real detail.
The amount of complaints about your posts on here was staggering.
we are not a free ad's site.
You, the minority have helped spoil it for the majority.
The sales area exist as a 'favour' to the committed users of OOF. Not a free advert for any Tom Dick or Harry to try and make a few quid with no outlay of their own.

Dont sit on the fence JB, let us all know how you really feel ::) ;D
All jokes aside, Charlie you breaked up, you got burned and caused admins a lot of hassle they dont need. And now you have the audacity to complain? >:(
Consider yourself lucky to still be a member on such a well-run site :y
-
Charlie why don't you just do one? You only came here to sell your car, and have pretty much made the post limit seem as if it isn't enough, you then have the cheek to come on here and complain about it. You had no intention of joining this site and staying here. If you don't like the rules on here, get lost.
-
Charlie, I think you should be banned as a spammer personally.
Posted a load of useless Rubbish to increase your post count then posted an advert so poor not even your self would buy a car in such a way.
Refused to answer any questions on it and buggered off on holiday for a week allegedly, that's if the car even exists at all, which I personally very much doubt.
The result of which made life very busy for admin, that's one thing, but also the increased post count makes life difficult for less frequent but long term members who do actually have a car to sell for genuine reasons. Your actions threaten the very existence of that section
Ban him IMO. >:(

Given the number of times this has been raised and debated I'd say Jim shows admirable restraint and patience...as he did with me when I raised this on another topic.
-
break off then if you dont like it.

Rules are rules, and rules were recently modified due to a minority of people who have no intention of being part of this community posting a load of pointless junk, simply because they are too tight to use traditional, commercial advertising channels.
Therer is no further discussion to be had.
