Title: Vodafone bill again!!!
Post by: Del Boy on 20 September 2010, 08:09:34
£333 without the VAT added, no way can I have used 1200 minutes because I just simply haven't used the phone that much to get a bill that. Just wait until I get on that phone  >:(

Nope got a 1gb allowance, plus haven't really used it a lot only to browse here, I had used something like 2gb in 4 months before. It's getting beyond a joke this is now to be honest.

Got every sympathy with you......We've been having loads of problems with vodafone nearly every bill they send through is wrong..............Think a change is in order at renewal time!!

There's a big thing with this Venista company sending pretend service messages/video that you have to download and then get charged anything from £1.50 to £5 per message, even if you don't download it just by responding. Some kind of reverse text charge.

I get them from time to time although I am unaware of how they got my number in the first place (no doubt the same way any of these companys get them) for me, same rule applies to my phone as email, if I don't know the sender, don't open.

Might be worth checking as I have read about many people not even knowing they had been caught in this manner, check your bill very carefully.

Sounds like someone may have cloned your sim/number.  Happened to a friend of mine and took a while to sort out but now she gets a free contract, only extras are billed, and a new phone every year FOC.

Is your lad using your phone instead of his for the internet, you did say you have identical phones.

Is your bill fully itemised.

Wouldnt you be better on a contract at this rate.?

I was looking for a personal 'phone (for OOF purposes) but became cheesed off with the choice and conflicting opinion about the merits, or otherwise, of the various operating systems available - so I've decided not to bother.

As of a week or so ago, I'm 'phoneless and not feeling any undue effects. :-/
