I have delibertately stayed out of the recent spat of postcount culling, exchange of PM's, texts, e-mails and the like as, frankly, they did not involve me directly.
It is most disheartening to now learn that I am being badmouthed by those that I previously trusted and held in highest esteem and considered friends, if not substantially more. Further, my honesty is now being brought into question as regards discussing matters that were considered of a 'confidential' nature between members of the admin team.
As said, not chuffed.

Whilst I'm very distressed about this unhappy news I must point out that should the perpetrator be sanctioned for his misdemeanours, I'll be obliged to stand by him - if he's the man I'm thinking of at the moment. (And more often than is really healthy)

Turns out that your right Steve. I thought this was another wind up thread, but general opinion seems to be that it isnt.

If people get upset about what happens on a forum, then they should be sectioned and separated from society as even the slightest of real-life issues will send them into a spin.

I have no idea what is going on but it seems a shame that one of the admin team has had to take time out.

If you'd bothered to read Broocie's post he says he has been let down my people who he considers to be very good friends. I know I would be a little cheese off to say the least if I thought a good friend had let me down as I suspect most people would be.

While I have no idea what is going on, nor do I want to, the above statement is spot on.
Forums and the interweb are a funny place, and for some the imaginary friendships and 'social life' seem to be all to real. Stupid things like post counts and ranks become an uber importance and things that would never be an issue in the 3D world suddenly become major problems.

By that, I mean real friends, people that I regularly meet face to face, visit in their homes and regularly talk to on the 'phone etc and not just keyboard warriors that you see on internet forums (Broomies Mate and Rufus, please take note....)
As said at the start of this thread, I dont nornally get drawn into the childish antics that can abound, 'cos I'm a grumpy git. However, Daz, TB and others all acted, art and part and in a concerted and concentrated manner, to get to me. And they did.
Son, you are going to get the slipper, next time we meet up, and yer Maw says I can use hers so no use running there with a snotty nose.... :P

The only thing I would ask H is that if there's corporal punishment to be dealt out, could you go easy on a certain person - it would be a shame to mar such a perfect physique? He is, after all, one of the few truly beautiful, Adonis-like people within the membership. :y

imagine how bemusing it all is if you get to spend time here as rarely as i do mark !
(i'd be here more often, but my online time is usually largely chewed up by management duties on my "work" forum.... with some 85K+ members (and growing) it often takes a while ..... )
(i originally typed 65K, then went and looked up the current total, my god it's now 85,484 members.... i think i need a pay rise. )
