The Vicar was asked to tea by one of his Parishioners who had a reputation for being a bit shy of housework.
When he sat down at table, he noticed that the dishes were the dirtiest he had ever seen in his life!
"Have these dishes been washed?", he said.
"They're as clean as Soap and water can make them", replied the woman.
After Blessing the food, he ate what turned out to be a really tasty, well cooked meal, despite the filthy plates.
The Vicar thought he would he would make amends for his earlier reticence and told the Parishioner how much he had enjoyed the food & what a wonderful cook she was. " Why thankyou Vicar", she said as she took the plates to the back door and shouted to her dogs, " Here Soap!" here Water!"

It seems that when it comes to the vicar - anything goes. :y
