That's all right Alfie - it was news worth missing. ;D :y

On your original point however, although it was cold here this morning there was no frost.

But, the leaves started falling from the trees last week, so it seems that Autumn has finally arrived. (For me at least)

I saw old Autumn in the misty morn
Stand shadowless like Silence, listening
To silence, for no lonely bird would sing
Into his hollow ear from woods forlorn,
Nor lowly hedge nor solitary thorn;--
Shaking his languid locks all dewy bright
With tangled gossamer that fell by night,
Pearling his coronet of golden corn.

Too early, too dark to verify !

Did tell 'er she should have put it to bed properly in the garage as per norm - moaned about the rain Friday (as if ....)
