Last year in Scotland every pub was selling aberdeen angus beef,
to supply that amount each field would need a dozen or so black beasties.

OXTAIL is a misnomer....its actually made from Bulls tails, boiled up, and the meat from the bone reduced into a soup. sorry to burst somebody's bubble.................

Maybe chefs Oxtail soup does but I suspect the vast proportion of commercial Oxtail soup uses mechanically recovered meat.

Don't doubt it matey, but some of my working life was spent in a kitchen as a trainee chef, and believe me, if it wasn't made "properly" something would be thrown, or you would have been verbally abused.............................
Its supposed to be made from Bulls tails, then........ :D ;D ::)
