I have an open ended offer to go and stay over in the states whenever I want, it wont be for a couple of years till they move over there permantly, I have seen pictures of the house thats parts of the land of a large farm.
I have the Zip code but Google Earth takes me to just the general area and neither of can idenfy where the fame or her bungalow is.
I have 2 letters and 4 numbers making up the Zip code but it just doesnt seem to be accurate.
Is there any other way of cross checking a Zip code so I can find the farm, or do I need a get a fuller more detailed address.
TIA.

Will add that it's the Iron Mountain Lake area and the farm is in a woodland area.

no you need the full address, house number and street. US zip codes are very vague!

Cheers Tunnie, thought that was the case. :y

U.S 5 digit zip codes, sometimes have a 'dash' then an additional 4 digit suffix which is used to identify an individual locations rather than simple areas.
If you have that you may be able to cross-reference the zip+4 into geo-ordinates online......but zips are notoriously vague; especially in rural areas.
