Title: Very Big Thanks to MarksDTM
Post by: JamesV6CDX on 06 May 2007, 00:12:26
A very big thanks is in order for Mark, who spend his entire Saturday afternoon and evening working non stop on my Elite gearbox problems. Having spent a lot of time helping others with various Omega jobs, it was really reassuring that help and support was available at a time when I really needed it.

Absolutely top guy, I really enjoyed watching the way you work, I've picked up some useful knowledge and tips, especially about electrical fault finding, which is by far my weakest area.

And to top it all, he insists on my girlfriend and myself having chinese with his family afterwards!

Maria also says thanks, she had a fantastic day out, and commented that you have a very nice wife :)

Also, big thanks to Dave (Laidback66) for taking the time to come over and see me while I was in Nottingham. And it was Good to see Mr McBurger over there too. I think we topped 6 Omega's outside at one point!

I'm sure we'll catch up again soon, if not before, then up at the Lakes

Thanks again Mark, top job  :y

What was the complete set of fault codes that were read from the gearbox ecu?

The code that was returning after they had been cleared was 62 - power control relay input voltage low

The others, I'm not entirely sure, there was one about the selector switch, and Jaime mentioned something about the Ratio..

TB.. can you confirm?

no code about selector, just an observation.

not presents were all related to solenoid, but as we thought they may be due to the work you'd done and ecu swaps, we cleared to see what came back...
