Hmm..Nasty end to a life, and unending sorrow for those he has left behind :(

I was always told whilst learning to drive, that the last thing to go through your mind in a serious impact without a seat belt would be ...your arse! :o :(

For just that reason; I`ve recently fitted out my Miggy estate with high-modulus, moulded-polycarbonate dog crates which are secured to the load area`s floor......for surely, even a small collision/impact (let alone one significant enough to break the car`s windows) might result in their grievous-injury or death....whilst ejection through a broken window or sprung-open tailgate, would certainly be fatal. :'(

An unrestrained 5 year old child in the back seat in a stop dead collision at 30 MPH has the mass of a baby elephant, more than enough to rip the front seat from its mountings and crush a front seat occupant against the dashboard :o
