Title: Rossi/ Lorenzo
Post by: albitz on 03 October 2010, 07:48:06
Dont want to spoil the fun for anyone who is planning to watch the Motogp race repeat later,but.......the last 2 or 3 laps between the Yamaha team mates was superb. Not to be missed. :) 8-)

Why would anyone want to watch golf ?? :-/ ::) ;D

....so we can shut the yanks up again  :y

Next season will be interesting with Rossi on Ducati.

And shame a about Pedrosa, bless him.

Now, where's the remote?  :y

Rossi was expected to really struggle at this track. Its the hardest track for breaking of the season, and he has a mangled shoulder, which badly needs surgery. Theres no keeping him down though. The greatest ever imo.
I was thinking half way through the race that Motogp is becoming a bit boring lately, then it all kicked off. :)

It made the commentators look silly - "Rossi is out to help Lorenzo win the title"

Ha ha ha ha!

The only thing missing from his record of achievements is a win at the TT,  but somehow I cant see him risking his neck and reputation to add that to his list.

He did visit the TT and his remarks about participating were typical Rossi.  He paid tribute to the riders and declared that he never would.

I don't hold that against him.

Nor do I. But it would imo be the one thing that would put his "best ever" title beyond any doubt or argument.
He would have to be mad to do it tbh. Risk everything including his life, for the satisfaction. Having said that if any of the current crop of top riders were to give it a go, he would be the one who I would have thought might do it. He does seem to love a challenge. And the more difficult it is the more he seems to love it. :y

Nice to see him back to his old self putting that pup back in his place  :y . I know jorge can ride very well but have never take to him, Rossi has done so much for the sport when he leaves it just won't be the same.  :(

I would imagine he will do 2 or 3 years for Ducati and then it will be a decision to either take up the challenge of F1 or stay at home and count his money. Unless of course the rallying bug bites again. All that talent in one person, it just aint fair. ::) ;D

Was a great race  :y I'm a big Rossi fan and it was good to see him battling again :)

Bit of a shame he is leaving Yamaha after so long but it will be good to see what he can do next year with Ducati  :y
