Finally got my ex police car sorted out & on the road today, never driven it before as had to get one or two things sorted out first.
Good News
It's quick, seams to pull like a train at even at 70mph, and the sound of the v6 is awesome !!. And when potting around at slow speeds the engines really smooth.
I'm looking forward to customising it up, and even though only driven it for the 1st time today, think it'll very much end up being the Omega I should of bought in the first place :) ;) :y .
And now the bad.....!
I can't fit it in my garage..... ahhhhh >:( >:( >:( ruddy thing is 6-7inchs too long.... Had to park it outside the garage, so hoping it'll be okay overnight, as I know there are one or two little scrotts around here who would love to have a go at it :-/.
Looking like the 2.2cd will have to go now, as whilst it's been nice to drive, the v6 feels better to drive already. So keep your eyes peeled !.

An Omega is 15'8"/15'9" and won't fit in your garage? It can't be a very big garage then. :-/ :-/ :-/

Have TwoTwo on the drive, emptied the garage today from all the bits & pieces had in there, in order to put the v6 in it, naturally thinking ..... "yeah, should easierly fit in there, car can't be that long..... (never put the 22 in the garage ya see ::) , my mistake and WRONG IT WON'T GO.......! :'( .
Yes know if drive in quick enough, and when the sudden stop happens, then the door will close, but still want a saloon, not a hatchback Rich ;D ;D

Garage built along with the houses in the 60's, so don't think there were many cars that long then being used as your everyday family car !.
Bit of a surprise today though, as got a capri in there, so assumed that it would take the Mig ?! ~ How wrong was I then :D

Garage built along with the houses in the 60's, ....
any chance of adding a bit to the front or rear of your garage?

Unfortunately it's not a simple as that Andy, as it's a council property block garage near the house, so no chance there. Otherwise that's the first thing I would of done.
