I know peeps on here like answering weird questions so here goes....
I need some of that industrial plastic right-angle strip that you glue on corners of walls to stop trolleys destroying the plasterwork. I can find manufacturers but need a small outlet for a couple of 1.5m lengths.
Searching DIY websites turns up nothing useful.
Any (helpful :)) ideas?

Any good, Chris?

Try somewhere that does perspex signs, or a proper builders suppliers,( especially if they supply hospitals/schools etc)if they haven't got it in stock they might be able to source some for you

Right thanks for those, guys. I didn't see the B&Q stuff even though I'd scoured the website.
It was more substantial stuff that I was hoping for; sort of 100mm-ish like in hospitals

That's getting close although 1.5mm thick is not going to take a canteen trolley at char-lady speeds I suspect. This is for a church kitchen I've agreed to decorate. EHO don't like the possibility of germs stuck in the gouged plaster.
I can find manufacturers but no outlets. May have to ring one.

I don't think they go to 1.5m long. Would need 3 on each corner and EHO don't like joins 'cos of germs. :(

Fabricate some from sheet aluminium.
I said 'sheet' aluminium.

It takes PE trolleys and the lunchtime hot trolley without a mark! They are 'no more nailed' on and sealed around with silicone and have taken many a knock but are still perfect.
Any thicker and your getting towards cladding stuff!

Yes I was in reasonable form last night after 6 hour business lunch - seriously we were working most of the time.
Over limit so my wife picked me up and we went for a meal with drinks - then decided to go to pub with friends. Of course I was not tired so booted up the pc about 12.30 and the rest is history!!
