Well i do - okay it pays the bills blah blah blah
But yesterday i removed all wheels, removed all brakes, removed the complete interior and all trim from my breaking rover. Whistling and learning as i worked.
Today my sealey engine hoist has arrived - according to my wife.
I wouldnt know as i am sat in an office, longing to go home and build it and hoist away....
Does anyone here actually enjoy there real job more than breaking cars, projecting cars etc.
:(

Hmm, let me think for a mo. I'm at work in a nice, dry, warm office. Assuming I can get the bits, when I get home, I have to go out in the cold and rain to do an oil cooler...
Guess where I'd rather be...

Okay considor great weather in Scotland at the moment and all the work being done in a big dry garage with a chest freezer in it, full electrics for light, heating, radio, small tv.

I would't mind doing something like that to my garage!
I have really enjoyed tinkering with cars, but not sure i would want to do it full time. When i had my placement at Uni, working as a techie which was great fun. Best job i ever had, did'nt want to leave!

Yep, me too TheBoy, the car wins everytime come rain or shine :)
I am working today in the servers room of one of Delphi's factories in the South East, and comforting myself with the thought of the nice ride home along the M2 at the end of the day! Sadly I'll get home quite late so no car work today... :(
-
I love my job, but I also love working on my own projects, I've got an engine sat in the garage longing to be in my car, and it pains me that I cant work on it more :-[

Despite weather, can't wait to get home and start stripping bits. New parts don't arrive until Wednesday :(

Its nice and sunny here now... hope it stays that way!

about 3 hours ;D
would've been alot less had it not of been for bodgers who round off allen key bolts, engine mount bolts and any other bolt that that could find, and if only Ford had of built the car right in the first place PMSL
had to drop the sub frame, twist the engine, jack up the car, rive it around etc LOL the front diff hits the sub frame in every direction but down, but naturally you cant get the car high enough without a ramp, else it would've been out in about 45 mins :(

I'm retired, don't know how I found the time to go to work. ;D
