o.k i realise this is a car forum but does anyone have any good chutney recipes so far i've made zuchinni and beetroot but want to broaden my repotoire i'm sure someone's Mum or Gran has a good recipe for me to try next! :)

I only pickle onions I am afraid, they tend to be a bit evil though as I chuck in birds eye chillis as well

I'm pretty handy in the kitchen but not a chutney fan i'm afraid. Love pickled stuff though, gherkins, veggies & especially eggs :P.
You've got me thinking about having a go now! :y

my sister in law makes some great chutneys, Marrow is good, , , and a pumpkin one was nice last year.....
red onion and carrot was fab... although perhaps more of a pickle...

had what was advertised at farmers market as red onion marmalade, if you can imagine that!?! Was utterly beautiful if used as either a relish, or a chutney, though.

It will soon be time for me to make my usual date & fig chutney for Christmas. I can post the recipe if you want? Although it's probably on the web anyway.
